Exercise Action in forenoon. Landed in afternoon. Very warm but marched as far as Dunfermline and back to canteen. Dalton left ship to go to Torpedo School. Slung clean hammocks in evening.

Seamen landed in forenoon. Did a little batallion drill and marched back via North Queensferry. Very nice but extremely warm. Make & mend in afternoon. “Phoenix” shoved off and “Narcissus” came alongside. Went over her in evening.
