Had row with Harry Reudle (shp. cpl.). Was going to take me before Officer of the Watch but thought better of it. “X” Turret Reserves to drill in afternoon.

Landing Party in forenoon. Under short watch. Burnt Searchlights in evening.

4″ and Searchlight drill in forenoon. Landed with part of Watch in afternoon. White Searchlight crews burnt lights in evening. Did not hear pipe and so was adrift.

Usual Routine. Told off for Gunner’s Party. Sponged out the 4″ guns in forenoon and cleaned out after ready use in afternoon.

Saturday Routine. Fell out for cook and cleaned out Mess. Played for Reserves v 2nd Division Stokers in afternoon. Good Game.

Coaled ship 370 tons. Finished before breakfast. Cleaned ship in forenoon. Make & mend in afternoon. Landed and went to Concert at Rosyth Y.M.C.A. Very good show. Met Batson there and had yarn.

White Searchlight drill in forenoon. X Turret Reserves to drill in forenoon but did not hear pipe and so was adrift. Bailed out water from double bottom in afternoon. Ship beat P.R. in League 2-1.

4″ drill in forenoon. Landed with part of Watch in afternoon. Watched Daymen beat Marines in League by 4-2. S/S Leicester arrived with provisions during dog watches. Port Watch provisioned.

Seaman landed. Told off for provision party and so stopped on board. Provision ship did not arrive and so covered towing pennant with canvas. Part of ship in afternoon.
