Divisions on jetty. Service taken by Captain. Pipe down afterwards. Went to Memorial Service at Y.M.C.A. with Colin in afternoon.

Mustered gear damaged in Action before Paymaster in forenoon. Make & mend in afternoon.

Working on coaling gear in forenoon. Cleaning paintwork outside remains of Sick Bay in afternoon.

Carried on taking out ammunition also took out 4 in guns.

Taking ammunition from “Q” Shell Room and Magazine until 4 o’clock. Left for basin about 5 o’clock. Tied up alongside jetty.

Clearing up wreckage nearly all forenoon. Make & mend in afternoon. Down in “Q” Magazine, bailing & clearing out in Dog Watches.

2.30 A.M. Got head down on Mess Stool until 6 o’clock. Got S.5, & S.8. (guns damaged in action) out in forenoon. Make and mend in afternoon. Carried on with guns again in dog watches. Got
them under stump derrick.
