Cory went ashore. Had office to myself all the afternoon. “Queen Elizabeth” came down and tied up to buoy. Raining majority of day.

Control Stations at 9 o’clock. Got relieved from Spotting Table. Cook of Mess.

Cook of Mess. Seamen landed. Started in office. Pictures in evening.
June 4th 1917
Control Stations in forenoon and then spotting table. Make & mend in afternoon to celebrate Kind’s birthday. Went to “Tiger” to see Finals of Fleet Boxing Competition. Heard I was to take on in Captain’s office tomorrow and so finished with part of ship.
June 3rd 1917
Usual Sunday Routine. Collection at forenoon Service. Head down in afternoon. Went up to see Mr. Duckworth about job in Captain’s office in evening. Duty Sub.

Painted ship all day. Paid in dog Watches. 3rd Advance party went on leave.

Anniversary of Battle of Jutland. Arried Rosyth about 7.0 A.M. Coaled from “Agnes Duncan”. Took in 650 tons. Finished
about 10.0 A.M. Cleaned ship in forenoon. Long dinner hour. Flats in afternoon. Landed to go to Memorial Service at
Y.M.C.A. but crowded out and so could not get in. Had tea at Y.M.C.A. Pictures in evening.
