Fleet all forenoon. Kept pretty busy at Rangefinder. Head down in afternoon. Control Stations again at 3.15. Packed up
about 5.30.

Scrubbed decks with sand. Got under way about 9.30 AM. Head down in afternoon. Cool of mess.
May 18th 1917
Got under way about 2.0 A.M. “B” & “X” unmoored. Had us watch. Control Stations in forenoon. Head down in afternoon.
Arriced Scapa Flow about 4.30 p.m. Started coaling soon after. Took in 630 tons. Finished about 8.0 p.m. Cleaned decks
after supper. Cook of Mess.
May 17th 1917
Did not go out during night but still under short notice. Went into usual routine about 10.30. Put other bridle on again.
Painting Party. Went to “Princess Royal” to watch boxing. Just turned in when both watches sounded off. Got ready for sea
and night defence.
May 15th 1917
Hands called at 4.45. Started coaling about 6.0 AM. Took in 380 tons from Agnes Duncan. Finished soon after 7 o’clock.
Cleaned ship in forenoon. Made grom(m)ets in afternoon.
May 14th 1917
Went out about 7.30 and dropped hook other side of bridge. .303 blobbing in forenoon. Control Stations
in afternoon. Sub Calibre firing. Very misty the whole time. Tied up again about 5.0 p.m. 2nd part Starboard on fos’cle.
May 13th 1917
Very wet day. No divisions. Did not go to church in forenoon. Head down in afternoon. Went to Evening Service.
May 9th 1917
Should have painted ship but it rained. Spotting Table in forenoon. Painted out Admirals Sea Cabin. Went to ‘Inflexible”
in evening to watch Fleet Boxing Competitions. Went up to pictures after. Cook of Mess.

Spotting table in forenoon. Cleaned down loft for painting in afternoon.
May 7th 1917
Got under way about 6.0 AM. Sub Calibre & 4″ firing in forenoon. Tied up again about 12.30 p.m. 2nd part Starboard on
fos’cle. Started coaling about 2.0 p.m. Took in 450 tons. Finished about 3.15.p.m. Cleaned ship in 1st dog.
