September 21st 1915
4″ drill in forenoon. Landed in afternoon.
September 20th 1915
Boat keeper of Sailing Pinnace all day. Boat used for Diving Party. Running nearly all day. “New Zealand’s” foretopmen beat our foretopmen in cutter race. Followed race in forenoon. Make & mend in afternoon.
September 19th 1915
Usual Sunday Routine.
September 18th 1915
Saturday Routine. Scrubbed decks with sand. Make & mend in afternoon.
September 17th 1915
Exercise Action in forenoon. Landed with 2nd part of Starboard in afternoon. Night defence in evening.
September 16th 1915
Dockyard working party in forenoon. Had breakfast at 6.15. Left ship at 7.15. Spent majority. Packed up about 11 o’clock. Cleaned pinnace in afternoon. Went to concert on board “Indomitable” with Colin in Evening. Very good.
September 15th 1915
Route March in forenoon. Landed and played for Reserves v Signalmen in afternoon. Lost 2-0. List taken off ship.
September 14th 1915
Washed down Sailing pinnace in forenoon. Make & mend in afternoon. Got head down. Put list on Ship to scrape Water Line.
September 13th 1915
Saturday Routine. Holystoned decks. Make and mend piped in afternoon but Dockyard Party had to carry on. Went over to dockyard and unloaded granite from Railway truck onto track. Packed up about 5 o’clock.
