Usual Sunday Routine. Told off for permanent boat keeper of pinnace. In pinnace in afternoon taking liberty men ashore.

June 20th 1915

Ordinary Saturday Routine. Attended Commanders defaulters and got 10 pennyworth. Did drill and worked with side party.

June 19th 1915

Cleaning up ship. Caught smoking by Harry Randal in afternoon about 3.30. Taken before Officer of the Watch. Commanders Report.

June 18th 1915

Went ashore in afternoon.

Saturday Routine. 

June 16th 1915

Arrived Rosyth at 10.0.AM. Started coaling about 10.30. Finished about 7.30.p.m. Took in 1820 tons. Submarine supposed to have fired at us as we were coming in. 

June 15th 1915

Nothing much doing. Expect to get in tomorrow forenoon.

June 14th 1915

Somewhere off Iceland. Fired 13.5 in dog watches. No Sunday Routine. Hands at Action Stations during firing. Cook of Mess. Lovely evening. Did not get dark all night.

June 13th 1915

Usual Sea Routine. Had all night in. Only working in two watches as evenings are so light. Alarm sounded off about midnight for 4″ night firing. The evening happened to be quite light and ships on horizon would be seen quite clearly and so no need for searchlights. Had to stop up at lights though whilst firing took place.

Went to sea about 10.0 p.m.
