Should have painted ship but it rained. Spotting Table in forenoon. Painted out Admirals Sea Cabin. Went to ‘Inflexible”
in evening to watch Fleet Boxing Competitions. Went up to pictures after. Cook of Mess.

Spotting table in forenoon. Cleaned down loft for painting in afternoon.

May 8th 1917

Usual Sunday Routine. Church in forenoon. Head down in afternoon. 

May 6th 1917

Carried on with Motor Boat first thing. Gave her another coat. Did not join up with Painting Party in afternoon but got
head down instead.

May 5th 1917

Finished painting Chief of Staffs Cabin before breakfast. Action Stations in forenoon. Painted outside of C (?) C.’s Motor
Boat in afternoon. Did not finish until 5.30. Duty part. 

May 4th 1917

Captain spun yarn to ship’s co re munitions, etc. New system started. Every man to make 4 sets a day. Saturday Routine.
Spotting table in forenoon. (Officers from destroyers). Painting in afternoon. Hands paid in dog watches. Pictures in
evening.

May 1st 1917

Had Middle Watch. Arrived Rosyth about 7.0 A.M. Started coaling about 8.30. Took in 1200 tons from Agnes Duncan. Finished
about 12.0 p.m. Cleaned ship in afternoon. 

April 30th 1917

Hands called at 3.15 AM. Actin Stations at 4.0 AM. At Action Stations until 4.0 p.m. Pretty windy and ship rolling a good
deal. Passed several (?)

April 29th 1917

Holy stoned decks before breakfast. Carried on paiting in forenoon and got under way about 12.30. 2nd part Starboard on
fos’cle. Head down in afternoon. Control Stations from 5 to 6 p.m. Buzz we are out to support Air Raid.

April 28th 1917

Painting under fore-shelter deck all day. Control Stations & Spotting table in forenoon. Pictures in evening.
