Hi, interesting diary. Just to let you know, the entry for the 12th is repeated twice, the second time in place of the 10-11th August entry.
Thanks! This was an important entry. Good thing you caught the error. Commander Glennie, I think a Captain then, may have been the father of Admiral Sir Irvine Gordon Glennie. The younger Glennie (1892-1980) is notable for being the second-last commander of the Hood and for his later promotion to Commander-in-Chief, America and West Indies Station.
