Had Middle Watch. Turned in about 2.30. Arrived Rosyth during Morning Watch. Started coaling about 6.0 AM. Took in 800 tons. Finished soon after breakfast. Very good coaling. Average 345.5. Pipe down in afternoon.

Ordinary Sunday Routine. Got up steam in afternoon & thought we were going to sea. May go out even yet. Put out to sea about 10.0 AM. Had first watch ie. all night in.

Hands called at 4.30.a.m. Started coaling at 5.30. Took in 400 tons. Finished about 7.o’clock. Cleaned ship in forenoon. Pipe down in afternoon.
