Started coaling at 7.30. Took in 420 tons from Agnes Duncan. Finished about 9.0 AM. Cleaned ship before dinner. Cleaning quarters at 2.45.

Usual Saturday Routine. Head down in afternoon.

General Quarters in forenoon. Got and played for Reserves v 4th Division of Stokers. Lost 1-0. Good game. First time we have been beaten.

Out nets again in forenoon. Training class in afternoon. Provision ship came alongside about 3.20. Starboard watch started provisioning until 8 bells and then Port Watch carried on and finished about 5.30.

All night in. Started coaling at 7.30. Took in 610 tons. Finished at 1.30. Good coaling but tiring work. Finished cleaning ship about 4.0.p.m. Glad to turn in. Went to Service in evening.
