Hands called at 5.0 AM. Started coaling soon after six. Very slow work to start with. Rotten Collier. Took in 420 tons.
Finished at 9.30. Cleaned ship in forenoon. Should have gone out torpedo running and sub calibre in afternoon but weather
too bad. Make & mend until 3.15 when we went to gun quarters. Blowing very hard.

about 4.0 p.m. Night firing after dark. Got under way about 8.45. White Watch tried 4″ and Sub Calibre firing. Dropped
hook again at 10.0 p.m. Cook of Mess.
