Hands called at usual time and so evidently German Fleet had returned. Secured from night defence first thing and so got
adrift with routine and scrubbed mess deck after breakfast. Cleaned bath room truck in forenoon. Hands paid during dinner
hour. Played League Match v Marines in afternoon and won 3-0 after a very good game.

White Searchlight crews to drill in after Y.S. in forenoon. Admiral Beatty left ship about noon for “Iron Duke” to take up appointment as
Commander-in-Chief. Made speech to troops before leaving. Captain Chatfield also left with Admiral and made speech. Hands cheered ship. Landed in
afternoon & played 3rd Div Stokers (friendly). Won 5-0. White S.L. crews burnt lights in evening. Hoisted Flad of Rear Admiral Packenham at 2.0.
