Seamen landed. C in C came on board in dinner hour and was presented with Silk Admiral’s Flag by Ship’s Company. Made very nice speech. Deck C (?) in Dog Watches. Had sub at Vaulting hose in evening. (?)

Should have gone out firing but washed out as weather was too misty. Coaled ship at 10.0 o’clock. Took in 400 tons from “Agnes Duncan”. Finished about 11.0 A.M. Carried on in office in afternoon. Pictures in evening.

Submarine E11 came alongside first thing. Make & mend. Did not have one. Went over Submarine in evening.

Action Stations in forenoon. Rookies played after Mess Deck and lost 3-0. Did not play. Working in office until 7.0 p.m.

Cory went ashore. Had office to myself all the afternoon. “Queen Elizabeth” came down and tied up to buoy. Raining majority of day.
