Holy stoned decks before breakfast. Painted hatches in forenoon. Make & mend in afternoon. Went over to ‘Tiger” in evening
to watch Semi-finals of Boxing.

Painted ship all day. Paid in dog Watches. 3rd Advance party went on leave.

Anniversary of Battle of Jutland. Arried Rosyth about 7.0 A.M. Coaled from “Agnes Duncan”. Took in 650 tons. Finished
about 10.0 A.M. Cleaned ship in forenoon. Long dinner hour. Flats in afternoon. Landed to go to Memorial Service at
Y.M.C.A. but crowded out and so could not get in. Had tea at Y.M.C.A. Pictures in evening.

Painted out passage on fore shelter deck in forenoon. Prepared for sea in afternoon. Got under way about 4.30 p.m. Had first watch. 11.30 – 12.0
A.M. up in bridge. Submarine lookout.

Control in afteroon. “Gunnery Jack” spun control practices yarn about Saturday’s firing. Painting in bottom colour in
lobby in afternoon. Seaboats returned.

Evaluations. Prepare to be taken in tow fore & aft. “Weight anchor by hand”. In pinnace for latter. E cancelled out Lobby
in afternoon. Duty part.

rounds per turret. Cleaned into coaling rig on return. took in 530 tons. Finished about 4.0 p.m. Cleaned ship in dog
watches.
