Usual Routine. Make & mend in afternoon. Had to paint out ‘B’ turret cabinet but packed up about 2.30 and got head down. Packed up in evening about 6 o’clock.

Went ashore in afternoon. Heats of Boxing Competition in evening. Boys, light-weights and middles. Some very good contests. No defaulters again.

Usual Sunday Routine. Told off for permanent boat keeper of pinnace. In pinnace in afternoon taking liberty men ashore.

Ordinary Saturday Routine. Attended Commanders defaulters and got 10 pennyworth. Did drill and worked with side party.
